A New Painting Finished

Brambles 20x30 inches in acrylic

This piece sat in my basement for awhile as I tried to figure out what and how I wanted it to look. I actually started with the pouring of the brambles years ago and then, it sat. Yet, I every time I passed the piece I kept wanting a bright blue as the background. I don’t know why it took so long to try the blue, but once I did, I was hooked. There is also some black mica paint and another finer crushed metallic which is impossible to photograph in this painting. I love the feeling of being able to go through to the other side.
